Some additional settings that can be adjusted for your Messenger bot include:


  • Mark as seen status: Allow your users to see when you have seen their message after they request to chat to a human.
  • Chat with a human email: Add a custom email address to be informed when a user requests to chat with a human.
  • Reply if no match found: Reply if your bot doesn't find a keyword match to the users message.
  • Mailchimp integration: Send a collected email from quick reply to your Mailchimp subscriber list. Page name will be added as tag name in your Mailchimp list.
  • SMS integration: Send an automated sms to users who provide a phone number through the quick reply.

Setup


Step 1: Click the 'Messenger Bot' submenu found under the 'Messenger Tools' in the left sidebar.


Step 2: Click on 'Actions' under 'Bot Settings'.


Step 3: Under the General Settings tab in the Messenger bot settings page click 'Change Settings'.


Step 4: Change the desired settings and click 'Save'.
